Measurement in Math

We had so much fun measuring our friends this morning in math. The students were given a piece of string to measure a friend's shoulder to shoulder, arm, leg, and foot lengths. They cut the string the appropriate length, then measured the string using cubes. It was a fun way to explore nonstandard units of measurement!
